November 10, 2009:  I am delighted to announce that I will soon be returning to the world of historical fiction!  We have just sold a trilogy on the life of Marie Antoinette to Random House. I'll be writing the novels under a new pen name.

 

And I'll continue to write historical nonfiction under my own name.
